The Austin Jewish Academy holds a fundraising Gala event yearly. The 2015 event was also the 18th Annual Gala.  The 18 is a combination of the jewish Chai Life symbol and the number 18. Adding some elegant typography, AJA brand colors, and some refined details gave the event a high end, sophisticated look. 

 

The previous year, AJA decided on a rock concert/Austin music theme hence the guitar and AJA tree logo combination.
